MELLOW YELLOW

With a hint of the Bohemian about it, the current off-the-shoulder trend is one of the hottest looks this season and there’s no reason why everyone shouldn’t join in. From feminine floral prints to crisp sailor tops you can pair the OTS trend with almost anything - making it endlessly versatile and extremely popular.

My current favorite is this mellow yellow look. I've paired it with denim shorts, palazzo pants and flowy skirts and it never failed to look cute.

- but I know what you're thinking "It's August why would we invest in a cute OTS item if it's just going to stay in my closet". Well I've been doing some serious ... Let's call it "research" and this trend isn't going anywhere - so don't worry (because this is the kinda stuff that keeps you up at night .. I KNOW)

I've noticed that retailers across the country have been including all the shoulder action in all their fall campaigns (research), and it hasn't shown signs of slowing down quite yet. Keep your eyes peeled for off-the-shoulder shirting. These tops have all the appeal of wearing a men's shirt buttoned up part-way—without the effort of keeping it in place all day. Wear it simply with cropped black jeans and a pair of statement stilettos.

It will be the perfect fall top, and can be worn with a coat or jacket for colder days! (ew)
