Wearing Kids Clothes

Another stylish benefit of being a petite woman!
I often spend hours shopping for the perfect outfit only to find out its 2 sizes too large. So if you’re petite, checking out the kids section at some store will pay off - in more ways than one.
For myself, the girl’s department at Zara is a dream come true. Most of the time if I see something I like in the women’s section that is a bit out of my budget, I’ll check the kid’s section and often find a similar, less expensive style.
Take this vest for example.

For a while, I was on the hunt for a petite faux fur vest but never found one that felt quite right.
One day I wandered into the Kids section at Zara and there it was - just hanging there – the perfect faux fur vest. I shyly tried it on as I got curious stares from the mothers shopping next to me, but it was totally worth it. It fit like a GLOVE!
I remember doubting the purchase then thinking “If it fits you well, why not?”
So I grabbed the Size 11-12 in girls (which was plenty roomy on me) and happily made my way to the cashier who told me that the vest was only $40. Happy Wallet=Happy Me

I love being petite. After all, I’m not short, I’m fun-sized!
